Open Studio - Brand Overhaul

Open Studio is Canada’s premier artist-run centre dedicated to contemporary fine art print and printmaking. However, its 30-year old brand ID desperately needed updating, as it no longer adequately represented the contemporary flavour of the organization. As Vice Chair of the Board of Directors and Chair of the Marketing Committee, I managed the effort to overhaul the Open Studio branding and brand platform, along with the team at design firm q30, which included all marketing collateral materials, templates, web assets and signage. 

With this new branding, we also repositioned the brand as “art for emerging collectors” and, with this new positioning, I was able to spearhead the effort to revitalize print sales, broaden Open Studio's awareness among designers, decorators, architects and other influential industry professionals.
